Missions

Gamboa Union Church seeks to present a vision to share Christ with the world, not just Gamboa or Panama, but the world.

Prayerfully: We are very active in praying in the 10/40 Window program. We seek to pray on a regular basis for the persecuted church and for Christians in prison for their faith around the world. Keeping informed about what God is doing in other countries is encouraging and challenging.

Financially: We financially support a variety of missions here in Gamboa (Indigenous people, Samaritan’s Purse, Bible distribution), in Panama (HOXO/Estereo Vida Radio, Youth With a Mission, Prisons, Wycliff Bible Translators and PAAM which seek to train and send missionaries from Panama), and in the world (Far East Broadcasting Co., Open Doors, and Voice of the Martyrs).

Personally: We have actively supported students from Youth With A Mission who are part of this fellowship who have gone on mission trips to many countries around the world including China, Taiwan, and the countries of South and Central America.

We seek to keep God’s world-wide program before the congregation by Biblical preaching, visiting missionaries, and hearing reports from mission teams which have been sent from this church.

Jesus said He would return when this Gospel has been preached to all nations and we want to be part of the fulfillment of God’s plans in these end times.
